HOW CLEANSERS THAT HYDRATE WILL PROFIT YOUR SKIN

If your face gets dry after cleansing, then your cleanser may be the cause... Most soaps work to deeply cleanse the skin. Nevertheless, certain components they use will often leave you with skin that feels drier or tighter. Therefore, a focused hydrating cleanser should help to keep your skin feeling much more moisturized.

WHAT DIFFERENTIATES A HYDRATING CLEANSING PRODUCT FROM OTHER CLEANSERS?

Hydrating cleansers comprise more conditioning ingredients that lessen water loss and the unnatural drying of your skin... They mildly but effectively cleanse impurities, but stop short of removing critical natural oils that your skin requires in order to remain properly hydrated. Hydrating cleaners are suggested for every type of skin because they work more effectively on conditions such as rosacea, eczema, and psoriasis.

CLEANING PRODUCT INGREDIENTS THAT WILL MOST LIKELY DRY YOU OUT

Stay away from these ingredients in cleansers to avoid drying out your skin.

  2. Any sort of alcohol like ethyl’s, methanol’s, benzyl’s, isopropyl’s, sodium chloride or SD.

  4. Any surfactant such as sodium lauryl sulfate’s, sodium laureth sulfate’s, ammonium lauryl sulfate’s, salicylic acid’s, sodium sulfosuccinate’s, or willow bark.

  5. Most likely any alphahydroxy acid’s (AHAs).

Focus on these ingredients when looking for a hydrating cleanser:

  1. Yes to Hyaluronic acid

  2. Jojoba oils, coconut oils, avocado oils

  3. Look for grape seed extract

  4. Glycerine is better in your soaps

  5. We always recommend shea butter

  6. Glycerol is good

  7. Beeswax based products
