WHAT PRODUCTS DO WE NEED TO HAVE AT ALL TIMES?

Have you ever felt overwhelmed by all the choices while at the store? Have you ever fought with yourself back and forth trying to figure out which products you need and which ones you don’t? Do you wish you knew exactly what you need and why? This will help you out by telling what the essentials are and why.
FACIAL CLEANSER
You should make sure that you NEVER go to sleep without cleaning your face, especially with makeup on. Sleeping in makeup will clog your pores and cause breakouts. Use warm water to open up your pores and ensure that the dirt will be easier to get off. Apply a cleanser of your choice and massage it into your skin. After you’ve applied it to your whole face and let it sit, rinse it off with cool water. Be sure you rinse it all off. Pick a face wash that is good for your skin type.
EXFOLIATING SCRUBS
We all want smooth and healthy looking skin. The easiest way to achieve this is by exfoliating. Exfoliating scrubs are definitely a must have in any skin care routine. They get rid of dead skin cells on the surface of your face speed up the production of new ones. They also work to unclog pores.
If you have sensitive skin, stay far away from harsh scrubs with bigger grains.
How often you exfoliate depends on your skin. If your skin is on the drier side, try exfoliating once or twice a week. If your skin is oilier, try three to four times unless you notice irritation.
A GOOD MOISTURIZER
Moisturizer is a staple in any and every skin care routine. You should apply it once in the morning and once at night regardless of skin type, but be sure you have one that suits your skin. For a daytime moisturizer find one with SPF in it to help protect you from sun damage while keep your skin hydrated.
At night time, use a thicker moisturizer. These creams should work to help rejuvenate your face while you’re sleeping.
Try using a toner followed with a moisturizer to go an extra step in the hydration department.
SERUM
If you’re having a difficult time with a specific issue, serums are for you. Unlike most moisturizers, serums work themselves deeper in your skin to provide them with nutrients and hydration.
Buy serums that work specifically on what you need help with. Put this on before applying moisturizer and be careful because a little bit is always enough.
EYE CREAMS
If you have or ever experience issues with your eyes, consider purchasing eye cream. These help to reduce puffiness and dark circles. There are creams that are for specific problems that will meet your needs. Pat the cream on the areas gently but be careful not to get it in your eye. You should apply this prior to moisturizer as well.
FACE MASKS
If you enjoy spas and getting facials but don’t really have the time, you should try giving yourself a facial at least once a week. It doesn’t take much time or money either. Unlike regularly washing your face, face masks extract all impurities from the top layers of your skin. They also do other things like exfoliate, tone, hydrate, protect, and leave your skin looking amazing and glowy. Much like serums, masks are able to target specific issues and concentrate on fixing them.
