BEFORE YOU PUT ON YOUR MAKEUP

The way to achieve natural, perfect glowing skin begins with an incredible skin preparation. Skin doesn’t look its best when it is dry, worn-out, cracked or oily. If you prep the skin on your face correctly before you apply your makeup, you won’t need much makeup to correct any particular skin situation you might be faced with allowing an opportunity for your flawless skin to shine through!

PREPARING YOUR SKIN Start with applying a toner of your choice on your face and neck. After toner, apply moisturizer on face and neck as well. You need to determine whether or not your skin is oily or dry and find a moisturizer suitable for your skin type. Giving a visit to a certified esthetician would be more useful than you realize, as most of us do not really understand exactly what our faces’ need. If your skin is dried out you would need an intensive hydrating face cream, but if your skin is extra oily, you would need to get a product that is oil-free.

After you gently apply toner with a cotton pad, PRESS your moisturizer onto your face and neck, DO NOT rub and lather it. Pressing will make sure that you never break out from the pile up of too much product and will transport blood flow back to the surface of your face giving you a natural, healthy glow!

Spray the readied areas with rose water for further hydration. The Rose water is a major part in achieving the appearance of a natural, flawless glow, because whether your skin is oily or dry, the mist striking your moisturizer hydrates when it needs to and absorbs oil when it needs too. The water spray helps to sink the moisturizer into your skin rather than it just lying on your face. This step changes how your skin looks once your makeup is applied. It’s the key to getting a natural glow.

After you spray the water mist on your face and neck, let your skin dry naturally for a few minutes. This skin prepping practice makes the face look and feel hydrated and takes no more than a couple minutes to complete.

APPLYING YOUR MAKEUP Once the skin is prepared, put on your makeup as you normally would, being cautious with the foundation and powder. With superior skin prep you won’t need to pack on foundation. Instead, it’s more about spot checking the areas on your face that need help and then skillfully dusting translucent powder over those area’s to set the applied makeup. This will give a much more natural appearance before you add the final touches to the rest of your makeup.
